About Donald Thomas

Donald Thomas, PA-C, graduated Physician Assistance (PA) School from the College of West Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his orthopaedic training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, under the guidance of supervising physician, Dr. Steve Nichols who is the team physician for the New York Jets and NY Rangers. In addition to working in orthopaedics, Donald has more than 30 years experience working in emergency medicine: first as an EMT paramedic and then as a physician assistant at local acute care centers and Nashville area emergency rooms.

He treats a variety of conditions including osteoarthritis, fractures, and sports injuries. He performs bone health assessments, physical examinations, and provides therapeutic interventions, including wound care, injections, splinting, and casting.
