Accreditation by the American College of Radiology is a top priority to Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics. In fact, all Hughston Clinic facilities have earned a three-year term of accreditation in MRI. The American College of Radiology (ACR), headquartered in Reston, Virginia is responsible for the accreditation of facilities for achievements of high practice standards. A peer-review evaluation of the practice is first conducted by expert medical physicists and board certified physicians to decide who receives an award. In addition, all equipment is assessed for image quality alongside a thorough evaluation of our technologists, radiologists, and medical physicists.
