About Justin Harrington
Justin Harrington received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Biola University in La Mirada, CA followed by medical school at Marian University in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Harrington then completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Doctors Medical Center, in Modesto, CA. Desiring further skill development and experience in sports medicine and arthroscopy, he completed an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. He has been extensively involved in clinical research throughout his medical education, including authorship of multiple peer-reviewed orthopaedic research articles as well as a medical textbook chapter.
Dr. Harrington is currently board-eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has served as team physician for Triple-A Minor League Baseball with the Rochester Redwings, St. John Fisher University, and as a Team Physician for the US Ski & Snowboard Aerials team. He has maintained memberships with several orthopaedic societies, including the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and ISHA the Hip Preservation Society. He is dedicated to working alongside the robust Hughston Clinic Sports Medicine team in the care of patients throughout Middle Tennessee.
