About Todd Rubin

Todd A. Rubin, MD, CAQ is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Dr. Rubin joins Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics in Nashville, TN after finishing his orthopedic surgery training in New York City.

Dr. Rubin received his undergraduate education at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. He returned to the Northeast for his medical degree at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. Afterwards, he accomplished his orthopedic surgery residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Following residency, he completed a one-year combined hand and upper extremity fellowship in orthopedic surgery and plastic surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center and New York University.

Dr. Rubin has authored numerous articles and book chapters, and has presented his research at the national level. He utilizes current concepts in the field to deliver compassionate and personalized care. In addition to hand and upper extremity injuries, Dr. Rubin specializes in arthroscopic and microvascular surgical techniques to treat congenital conditions, peripheral nerve lesions, and complex trauma throughout the body.
